Rob Chartier, Cogent Health Solutions
Rob Chartier is the Director of Software Development at Cogent Health Solutions. He has developed IT solutions for more than 13 years with a diverse background in both software and hardware development. He is internationally recognized as an innovative thinker and leading IT architect with frequent speaking engagements showcasing his expertise. He's been an integral part of many open forums on cutting-edge technology, including the .NET Framework and Distributed Computing.

He uses expertise with many Microsoft technologies, including .NET, and a strong background in Oracle, BEA Systems, Inc.'s BEA WebLogic, IBM, Java 2 Platform Enterprise Edition (J2EE), and similar technologies to support his award-winning writing. He frequently publishes to many of the leading developer and industry support Web sites and publications. He has a bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems. He has been awarded the Microsoft MVP status in Asp/ASP.NET for the past 4 years and has been a member of the AspInsiders since its inception.

Graham Jones, Vancouver Technology User Group
Graham Jones is the President of the Vancouver Technology User Group (VANTUG). His current "day" job is teaching Windows desktop, Office and computer assembly to users. He is a regular guest contributor to the Microsoft Canadian IT Managers blog where he enjoys sharing his many years of business and management experience. In November 2006 Graham started a not-for-profit organization, which is dear to his heart, called IT Volunteering which provides free IT Services to local charities. He is also a Microsoft MVP.

Medhat Elmasry, .netBC
Medhat Elmasry is a local Vancouverite. He has been developing and leading various software projects in and around the city since 1993. Some of his recent positions were: IT manager in charge of re-engineering at The Loewen Group; Professional Services Manager at Inglenet Business Solutions; Software Engineer at Scan-It-First Technologies; Data Analyst at Alderwoods Group; and Consultant at HSBC. Medhat is currently a full-time instructor at BCIT in the CST department, co-owner of BCJobs.com, and a contractor at SierraWireless Inc. During his spare time, Medhat finds time to manage the .netBC user group.

Scott Stauffer, Vancouver PASS Chapter
Scott is the president of the Vancouver PASS Chapter which he took part in starting in September 2004 to revitalize a community presence for SQL Server. An independent database consultant, Scott has worked with SQL Server for over 10 years and enjoys learning and sharing news things about the product.

Richard Campbell, Campbell & Associates
Richard Campbell is the Chief Technology Officer of Strangeloop Networks and partner in PWOP Productions. He's also a Microsoft Regional Director and MVP. Richard's fascination with communicating about technology has led him to writing numerous articles, serving as the co-host of .NET Rocks! and speaking to thousands of developers and IT professionals at conferences around the world.

John Bristowe, Microsoft Canada
John Bristowe is a Developer Evangelist with Microsoft Canada based in Calgary, Alberta. John is an experienced speaker and frequently presents Microsoft Developer Network (MSDN) events across Canada. Prior to joining Microsoft, John was a member of the Microsoft Regional Director (RD) and Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) programs.
